Stars Lose To Kings 4-2

The Dallas Stars lost to the Los Angeles Kings 4-2 Sunday at the American Airlines Center. 

The Kings took a 2-0 lead on goals by Dwight King and Andrei Loktionov.  Dallas rallied to tie the game with a goal by Loui Eriksson, assisted by Alex Goligoski and Mike Ribeiro, followed by a goal from Michael Ryder, with assists by Eriksson and Goligoski.  Eriksson’s goal ties him with Ulf Dahlen for the most goals among Swedish-born players in team history (130g). Eriksson’s 18 goals are second amongst the team, trailing only Michael Ryder’s 21 goals.   

The Kings got the game-winner in the 3rd period from Jordan Nolan and another on an empty net by Justin Wilson.

Stars goalie Kari Lehtonen saved 12 of 15 shots while Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick saved 26 of 28.

The Stars play at Detroit on Tuesday.
