The Dallas Stars were held scoreless in Minnesota Sunday night, falling to the Wild 1-0.

Minnesota’s Zach Parise scored the only goal of the game, a slap shot in the first period off an assist by Pierre-Marc Bouchard.

Dallas looked sluggish after the 4-point outing less than 24 hours earlier at the American Airlines Center.  “Back-to-back, we seemed a little lethargic to start the game,” said Dallas head coach Glen Gulutzan. “If you want to win on the road, you’ve got to be prepared and sometimes you can get the game in the first 10 minutes like they did.”

Stars captain Brenden Morrow was hit in the face with a puck in the first period and left the game.  He was able to return in the second period.

Goaltender Cristopher Nilstorp earned the loss, despite saving 31 of 32 shots in his NHL debut.

The Stars travel to Detroit on Tuesday to take on the Red Wings.
