Stars win at Phoenix

The Dallas Stars won in Phoenix 3-2 Tuesday night for their 3rd straight victory.

Dallas went into the final minutes with a 2-0 lead, but Phoenix came roaring back to tie the game with 38 seconds remaining.  Jamie Benn sealed the game for the Stars with just under 5 seconds remaining in the game.   Benn’s goal came on a power play with Loui Eriksson and Mike Ribeiro assisting.

In the first period, Tom Wandell put Dallas on the board with a slap shot.  Dallas did not score again until the 3rd period on a tip-in by Jamie Langenbrunner.

Goaltender Kari Lehtonen made 25 saves on the night.

Dallas travels to Anaheim on Friday.
