TCU QB Suspended Indefinitely After DWI

TCU quarterback Casey Pachall was suspended indefinitely by head coach Gary Patterson after being arrested early Thursday morning for DWI.  Patterson would not indicate how long the suspension would last.  The Horned Frogs play their first Big 12 home game on Saturday.

This is not Pachall’s first encounter with the law.  In February, police arrested Pachall’s roommate, former football player Tanner Brock, who confessed to selling marijuana.  During the investigation, Pachall admitted to officers he had tried ecstasy and cocaine in the last year and had failed a team drug test.

Patterson announced that redshirt freshman Trevone Boykin will start Saturday’s game against the Iowa State Cyclones.
