The two teams were back-and-forth through the opening 10 minutes, and with TCU trailing 22-21 at the 7:45 mark, the Frogs closed the half on a 17-4 run to take a 38-26 lead into the break.

TCU started the run with a quick 9-0 burst, as Donielle Breaux connected on a 3-pointer and the Frogs forced back-to-back turnovers that led to easy layups.

Medley followed with a floater and Ventress would force another turnover leading to a Medley layup for TCU’s first double-digit lead (34-24) with just over two minutes remaining.

Medley capped the run with a pair of free throws with under a minute to

play, and Jada Butts put an exclamation on the half by chasing down a Jayhawk on a fastbreak and getting a block at the buzzer.

The Frogs would have to weather a Kansas rally to open the second half, as the Jayhawks trimmed the advantage all the way down to two points following three-straight buckets from Chelsea Gardner.

With TCU clinging to a 50-47 lead with 11:18 remaining, Prince connected on a 3-pointer and would drain her third bucket from distance less than two minutes later for a seven-point advantage.

The Frogs pulled back out to a double-digit lead on back-to-back buckets from Hamilton and Prince, and would cruise the rest of the way as TCU exploited the paint.
