Cowboys Bring Back Durant

The Dallas Cowboys on Monday bolstered their thin linebacking corps by signing Justin Durant to a one-year deal.

With Rolando McClain facing a 10-game suspension, the Cowboys turned to Durant, who played for Dallas in 2012 and 2013.

He appeared in 16 during those two seasons and made 12 starts. He compiled 73 tackles and an interception.

The Falcons lured him to Atlanta with a three-year contract in 2015. He started 12 games for the Falcons last season but was waived in February.

Dallas waived defensive tackle Casey Walker to make room for Durant on the roster.
