Stars win in Nashville 4-2

The Dallas Stars came from behind in the 3rd period to defeat the Nashville Predators 4-2 Tuesday night.

Dallas opened the scoring with Steve Ott’s 8th goal of the season in the 2nd period in what was looking like a defensive battle.  The Predators then got two goals in two minutes to take the lead early in the 3rd period.  Loui Eriksson would tie the game a minute later with his 16th goal of the year.

The Stars would get two more goals midway through the period as Mark Fistric and Krystofer Barch each scored their first goals.

Dallas goaltender Andrew Raycroft made an incredible 44 saves on the night as Nashville attempted 46 shots on goal.   “Our goalie played unbelievable,” Stars defenseman Stephane Robidas said. “Without him we didn’t have a chance.”

There were 16 penalties on the night, including 4 majors for fighting.

The Stars return home tonight to play the Red Wings.
