Dirk goes down as Mavs beat Thunder

The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 103-93 Monday night.  Dallas outscored Oklahoma City 24-12 in the 4th quarter to seal the victory.

Caron Butler scored a team-high 21 points to lead the Mavericks for the 2nd straight game.  Dallas forward Dirk Nowitzki left the game with a knee injury after scoring 13 points in only 12 minutes.  Nowitzki needs only 3 points to pass Gary Payton for 24th place all-time.

Tyson Chandler pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds to go with his 7 points.  It is his 9th game with 10 or more rebounds.  Jason Kidd got his 4th double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 assists to go with his 9 rebounds and 4 steals.

 The Mavericks host Toronto tonight at 7:30pm.
