Finals Are Set At Challenger Of Dallas

The championship round is tonight for the yp Challenger of Dallas event at the T Bar M Racquet Club.  The USTA Pro Circuit event has attracted players from all over the world to compete for the $100,000 prize money.

American Jesse Levine will face the No. 2 seed Steve Darcis for the singles title.  Levine, ranked 160 in the world, defeated Stefan Seifert in the headline semis match Friday night.

Darcis, with a world ranking of 82, defeated sixth-seed Izak Van Der Merwe from South Africa.

In the doubles draw, the American team of Nicholas Monroe and Jack Sock defeated Alex Kuznetsov and Mischal Zverev in two tie-break sets.  They will face the British team of Chris Eaton and Dominic Inglot who knocked out Robert Kendrick and Mark Knowles.

The yp Challenger of Dallas is the largest pro men’s tennis event in North Texas hosted at TBarM Club and is rated one of the top circuit stops by the USTA. The USTA Pro Circuit is the pathway to the US Open and tour-level competition for aspiring tennis players, as well as a platform for established professionals. Maria Sharapova, Andy Roddick, James Blake and Andy Murray are among today’s top players who began their professional careers on the USTA Pro Circuit. The USTA Pro Circuit is world class tennis administered on the local level and played on local courts as part of the fabric of communities nationwide.
