FM Marcus Dominates Grapevine

The Flower Mound Marcus Marauders dominated the Grapevine Mustangs 62-12 Friday night at Marauder Stadium.

Harvey Giddens rushed for 187 yards on 19 carries and scored 4 touchdowns.  As a team, Marcus racked up 311 yards on the ground.

Quarterback Cole Erwin was 12 of 18 through the air for 131 yards and 2 TDs.  9 of Erwin’s completions were to Cody Apfel for 109 yards.

Grapevine had offensive success, gaining 152 yards on the ground and 182 by air.  3 turnovers handed the game to Marcus.

The Marauders travel to Arlington Lamar on Thursday and Grapevine returns home to host Irving on Friday.
