Leader change for Masters Round 2
|Round 1 leader Fred Couples dropped back to 9th place after a 5-over par 75 in the second round. Ian Poulter had the low round of the day, bringing him to a tie for the lead with Lee Westwood at -8. Poulter’s back-to-back 68’s match his best ever round at the Masters. It is the first time Westwood has scored back-to-back rounds in the 60’s at the Masters.
Tiger Woods shot a 2-under par 70 to move into a tie for 3rd.
48 players made the cut, which was placed at 3-over 147.
