Local Anthony Kim commits to HP Byron Nelson Championship
Irving, TX, May 12, 2011 – Anthony Kim and Andres Romero have officially committed to play in the 2011 HP Byron Nelson Championship.
University of Oklahoma graduate and Dallas resident Anthony Kim has claimed two victories since turning pro in 2006. Kim is currently No. 51 in the Official World Golf Rankings and his best 2011 finish was T6 at the Farmers Insurance Open.
Andres Romero has claimed one PGA TOUR victory and eight international victories during his career. His best 2011 finish was T8 at the recent Zurich Classic of New Orleans. This will be Romero’s second appearance at the Championship.
The most current commitment list is available here. The field will not be final until Friday, May 20 at 5 p.m. The 2011 HP Byron Nelson Championship will be played Memorial Day weekend, May 23-29, at TPC Four Seasons Resort Las Colinas in Irving.
