The Dallas Mavericks rallied from behind to defeat the Memphis Grizzlies 95-85 Wednesday night at the American Airlines Center.

Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki posted his team-high ninth double-double of the season (367th career) with a game-high 23 points (10-18 FGs, 3-5 FTs) and 10 rebounds in 38 minutes.

With a 3-pointer in the fourth quarter, Jason Terry tied former Maverick Peja Stojakovic (1,760) for fifth place on the NBA’s all-time 3-point field goals made list. Terry has made 1,112 of his 1,760 career 3-pointers with Dallas.  Terry finished with 15 points (6-14 FGs, 1-4 3FGs, 2-2 FTs), four rebounds and three assists in 35 minutes off the Mavericks’ bench. It marked his third straight game with at least 15 points, three rebounds and three assists.

Ian Mahinmi tied a season-high with 10 rebounds on the night (also had 10 at L.A. Lakers 1/16). It was the eighth time Mahinmi has recorded nine-plus rebounds in a game this season.

Mavericks point guard Jason Kidd missed his second straight game with a strained right groin. Delonte West started at the point again for Dallas in place of the injured Kidd. It was West’s 22nd start of the season.

The Mavericks’ next game is vs. Portland on April 6 at 7:30 p.m. CT.
