Mavs defeat Raptors 114-96

The Dallas Mavericks won their sixth game in a row by defeating the Toronto Raptors 114-96 on Sunday night.  The Mavericks got off to a slow start, falling behind 22-3 before Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas bench kicked into high gear.

Nowitzki scored 31 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for his 10th double-double of the season.

The Mavs bench was responsible for the win, as 4 players scored in double figures.  Shawn Marion scored 20 points, Jason Terry added 19, Ian Mahinmi scored 13, and J.J. Barea 12.  It is Marion’s sixth 20-point game coming off the bench.

The 18-point margin is the 2nd largest for the Mavs this season.

Dallas next plays at Philadelphia on Tuesday.
