Mavs Lose In Philly

The Dallas Mavericks fell to the Philadelphia 76ers 100-98 on Tuesday night in Philadelphia.

Chris Kaman led the Mavericks scoring with 20 points.  Kaman ranks 8th in the NBA on field goal percentage at 54.5%.

Shawn Marion scored a season-high 17 points and grabbed 8 rebounds for Dallas.  Elton Brand matched Marion in both points and rebounds.  O.J. Mayo scored 11 points and had a season-high 7 assists.  Mayo has scored in double figures in every game this season.  He is 2nd in the NBA with 43 3-pointers.

Vince Carter came off the bench for 15 points, and Darren Collison tallied 12.  Collison also grabbed a game-high 5 steals.

Dallas committed 8 turnovers in the 4th quarter.

The Mavericks travel to Chicago tonight to take on the Bulls, who have beaten them in 3-straight games.
