Mavs Lose In Toronto

The Dallas Mavericks dropped below .500 Friday night with a loss to the Toronto Raptors 95-74 at the Air Canada Centre.  Dallas drops to 11-12 on the season.  9 of the 12 losses for the Mavs have come on the road.  Dallas is 0-2 on the current 3-game road trip.  

The Mavericks ended an NBA record streak of 1,108 games with a 3-pointer, after going 0-for-13 from beyond the arc.

Shawn Marion posted his second straight double-double with 12 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.  Chris Kamon scored 15 points, all in the first half.

O.J. Mayo scored 10 points, 6 coming from the free-throw line.  He committed 6 turnovers.

Brandan Wright scored 13 points off the bench, the only Dallas reserve to make an impact.  The Toronto bench outscored the Dallas bench 53-27.

Dallas stays on the road to play the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight.  Minnesota has won 3 of the last 4 against Dallas, including a 90-82 victory in Dallas earlier this season.
