The Dallas Mavericks had a tough game on Tuesday falling to the Milwaukee Bucks 95-90. The Mavericks are on a two game losing streak and are now three spots away from the 8th seed.

The Mavericks had an off night as a team, shooting 42.4 percent from inside the three point line and only 5.9 percent from behind the line. This off night is something that Maverick’s coach Rick Carlisle knows the team can’t have if they want to try and make the playoffs.

“Basically, our collective will has got to be stronger,” said Carlisle..

Dallas has dropped a spot in the playoff run since losing to the Lakers on Sunday. They currently sit as the 11th seed battling for at least the 8th seed to ensure that they will play in the playoffs one more year.

Mavericks guard Vince Carter, who has been mentioned as a candidate for sixth man of the year, struggled against the Bucks scoring only two points in the game. Dirk Nowitzki had an outstanding night despite the loss. Nowitzki finished with 21 points and 20 rebounds.

That was the last game of the Mavericks home stretch and will now have to go on the road to take on the Memphis Grizzlies. Tip-off is on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
