Mavs lose to Blazers 104-101

The Dallas Mavericks lost to the Portland Trail Blazers 104-101 Tuesday night in Portland.  The Mavericks shot 59.7% from the field in the loss. 

Turnovers killed the Mavericks, who gave up 22 points on 15 turnovers.

Dirk Nowitzki scored 28 points to lead the Mavs, but was overshadowed by Portland’s LaMarcus Aldridge, who scored 30 and grabbed 8 rebounds.

Shawn Marion scored 18 points for Dallas, followed by Rodrigue Beaubois with 16, Jason Terry with 14 and Tyson Chandler with 12.  Jason Kidd added 14 assists.

The Mavericks continue their road trip with Golden State tonight.
