Mavs Sign Johnson

The Dallas Mavericks signed power forward Ivan Johnson on Tuesday to undisclosed contract terms.

Johnson played for the Zhejiang Golden Bulls in the Chinese Basketball Association last season. He joined the Mavericks’ summer league team this month and averaged 7.8 points and 3.8 rebounds in five games.

The 30-year-old Johnson started his NBA career with the Atlanta Hawks in 2011-13, averaging 6.5 points and 3.9 rebounds in 125 regular-season games.
