The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Utah Jazz 94-91 Thursday night. The Mavericks shot 52.1 percent on the night to get their first road win over a Western Conference opponent.
Shawn Marion led the Mavs with 22 points, a season high for the Dallas forward. Jason Terry came off the bench to score 10 points, including a clutch 3-pointer to give the Mavs the lead with 2:26 remaining in the game.
Another bench player, Rodrigue Beaubois, scored a season-high 17 points for Dallas in just 18 minutes.
Dirk Nowitzki scored 12 points, Lamar Odem 11 for the Mavs. Jason Kidd made 11 assists.
The Mavericks tied a franchise record by holding the opponent to under 100 points for the 13th straight game. Dallas continues the road trip Saturday at New Orleans.
