Mavs win in Philly

The Dallas Mavericks won their seventh in a row Tuesday night with a 101-93 victory over the 76ers in Philadelphia.  It is the 17th win for Dallas in the last 18 games.

Again, it was the bench that lifted the Mavs.  Jason Terry came off the bench to score 30 points, leading all players.  Shawn Marion came in and scored 10 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double.

Dirk Nowitzki scored 22 points for the Mavs.  Jason Kidd had a triple-double, with 13 points, 13 assists, and 10 rebounds.  He also led the team with 3 steals.

Dallas center Tyson Chandler left the game with a sprained ankle.  It is unknown when he will be able to return.

The Mavericks are now in 2nd place in the Western Conference.

Prior to the game, Dallas coach Rick Carlisle was named Western Conference coach of the month for February by the NBA.

The Mavs return home to host Indiana on Friday.
