Nadal wins 2010 US Open

Rafael Nadal became the youngest man to win a career Grand Slam after defeating Novak Djokovic in the US Open final.

Nadal, ranked No. 1 in the world, showed once again he is unstoppable when healthy.  Winning his ninth Grand Slam event, and 3rd in a row, Nadal becomes just the 4th man ever to win all 4 majors.

Djokovic played well, even taking the second set – the only set lost by Nadal the entire tournament.   In the final set, no matter what Djokovic did, Nadal answered with pinpoint accuracy.  Nadal only made 2 unforced errors in the entire 4th set.

Djokovic moves to No. 2 in the ATP rankings, overtaking Roger Federer, who he defeated in the semifinal round.
