Tiger Woods Wins AT&T National

Tiger Woods earns his 74th career PGA TOUR victory at the AT&T National. The 74 victories surpass Jack Nicklaus for second all-time on the PGA TOUR trailing only Sam Snead (82).  It is his 3rd victory on the PGA TOUR in 2012.  Woods earns 500 FedExCup points to move from No. 4 to No. 1 the FedExCup standings. First time in 100 weeks that he moves to No. 1 in the FedExCup standings.

It is Woods’ 23rd come-from-behind victory in final round on the PGA TOUR, including the 90-hole Las Vegas Invitational in 1996. Has won 9 of 12 times in PGA TOUR career when trailing by one stroke entering the final round.

Bo Van Pelt finished 2nd at 6-under, 2 strokes behind Woods.  The runner-up finish for Van Pelt was the third of his career, and the first since a T2 at the 2010 Frys.com Open. Van Pelt notched his sixth top-10 finish of 2012, tied with Matt Kuchar and Jason Dufner for most on TOUR. His 19t top-10 finishes since 2010 are most among any player without a victory during that time period.

Adam Scott finished 3rd at 5-under.
